SHAW BANKRUPTCY.
OFFICIAL ASSIGNEE v. TIMAETJ PROPERTY COMPANY. JUDGMENT RESERVED. The hearing of the case Official Aseignee in the estate of Walter Shaw against the Timaru Property Co., was continued at the Supreme Court on Saturday before Mr Justice Denniston. Mr Myers, with him Mr Kinnerney and Mr Weston, appeared for the plaintiff, Mr Skerrett. K.C., with him Mr Caesidy, appeared for the defendant company, and Mr Hosking, K.C., with him Mr Acland, . for Samuel Trevurza. John Imrie, further cross-examined by Mr Myers, eaid Shaw told him he wished something could be done as some of his friends were putting a wrong construction upon the fact of Trevurza having left him. Witness told him to take no notice of this. This conversation occurred after Mr W. Raymond arrived from Christchurch Witness had not on any occasion stated that he would try and see if Mr W. Raymond would come into the company. Mr Myers cross-examined witness at length on a statement of accounts. Mr Myers again raised the point that three of Shaw's diaries should be produced so that his Honour could ascertain tho state of Shaw's mind at the time of the transactions. His Honour said he would not decide the point then. Counsel elected not to address hie Honour, and the case was adjourned till 2 p.m. Upon resuming, his Honour said ne thought it would be better for him to put his judgment in writing, and he would do so at the earliest possible opportunity.
