SHIPWRIGHTS AND HARBOUR BOARD'S TUG.
STRIKE FUNDS DEPLETED. (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) DUNEDIN, December 5. Messrs Miller Bros., who hare been entrusted vrith the launching of the Harbour Board's new tug, approached the Shipwrights' Union to-day with a view to engaging members to carry ont necessary work on the A wellattended meeting of shipwrights was held to-night, when it was decided to reject the offer to resumo work. The tug is expected to be ready for launching in about a fortnight. It is understood that, the strike fund of the old Waterside "Workers' Union, is exhausted, and that no further strike foments will be made in the meantime. It is also reported that the seamen will receive final strike pay to-morrow, married men getting -15s and single men 10s, and that this will leave the local branca with about £150 in hand to meet current expenses.
