STUBBORN WATERSIDERS.
(special to "the press.") NEW PLYMOUTH, December 4
Despite the fact that the members of the old Red Fed. Watersiders' Union have been ousted at New Plymouth by a new and energetic body of men, they still try to gull the public that they are satisfied with the position. At a special meeting of the old union last night a resolution was passed to the effect that the union was determined to maintain the attitude taken up at the commencement of the strike, and expressing entire confidence in the Federation of Labour.
