FOUNDRY MANAGER SHOT. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) PERTH, December 4. Alfred Smith, manager of Metter's foundry at Subiaco, died as the result of shot wounds. A man named Stannard, employed at the foundry, has been remanded on a charge of attempted murder. It is alleged that trouble existed between him and the manager and that he visited the manager's office.
