KAIAPOI.

A meeting attended by about twontyfive persons interested in the recreation club at Kaiapoi was held at the Cycle Club's rooms on Monday, Mr K. Wyhe (Mayor) presiding, to discuss the trust deed of the Kaiapoi Park, and the proposal to erect thereon a grandstand and pavilion. It was decided that a committee of the Mayor, LI. Evans, J. L. Conlan, J. G. YeHowlecs, J. Brydcn, and Dr. J. H. Crawehaw prepare a report setting out the terms and conditions under which the work could be carried out, ami submit it to a general

meeting of the committee having the control of the park under the conditions of the trust deed.
