OHOKA.
The now hall schemo was advanced another step on Monday night when a large meeting of the general committee was held. One outstanding feature was tho number of ladiwj present. The chairman (Mr E. Lord) reported the steps that ho had taken towards eecuring a section. He also stated the result of his rwit to tho Domain Board. Mr W. E. Knight was appointed treasurer. It was decided to hold another meting op Monday evening next. It was decided to caii a meeting of the ladies of tho district for Wednesday afternoon, December 10th, to make arrangements for a monster bazaar which is to be held early in the new year.
