(Before Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M.) DR_NKI_NNTSSSTwo first offenders for drunkenness were fined os, in default 24 hours r imprisonment. Fergus Campbell, on charges of drunkenness and obscene language, was convicted on the former charge, and sentenced to fourteen days hard labour on the other charge. Thomas Hull, whose offence of drunkenness was aggravated by disorderly behaviour, was fined 205," in default seven days' imprisonment.
REMANDED. Henry John Davis and Leonard James Rowan were remanded until Wednesday next on charges of using threatening behaviour in Armagh street, whereby a breach of the peace was alleged to have been occasioned.
A SALUTARY SENTENCE. James Lewis, a native of England, aged 32 years, pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing, within the space of twelve months, a man's bicycle, valued at £14 10s, the property of Arthur Thain. Chief Detective Bishop, who prosecuted, handed in the accused's record — a fairly lengthy document. Tbo Magistrate sentenced the accused to six mouths' imprisonment with hard labour.
