QUEENSLAND LIBEL ACTIONS.
PREMIER AWARDED DAMAGES
(By Cable.—Press Associ-twn.—Copyright) BRISBANE, November 29. The jury awarded the Premier,' Mr D. F. Denham, £300 in the libel action brought by him against Ferricks, and awarded Denham Brothers tho same amount. A stay of execution was granted to enable defendant to appeal.
Dcnhani Brothers also sued the "Warwick Argus," published at Warwick, for £10,000. This libel action has boon discontinued upon the defendants publishing a special apology and paying costs.
