A MitchelL . ..''■.'■ The monthly meeting of tho Riccarton (Burgesses' Association was he!d on xnurstiu/. mx bn_u___ piesided over a fair attendance of members. It was decided to ask the Borough Council what was being done in reference to stray cattle wandering 01 tho roads. On the motion of Mr Killick, eeconded by Mr Staunton, it was decided to affiliate with tho United Burgesses' Association, * .Mrs Gourlay, Blighting, and Killick _--€•*_ appointed delegates. A discussion took p.ace in reference to the Park roads, s_d it was thought tho Council had acted very wisely in tho matter. A __cussk_ took plaoo on fire brigade matters, end it was decided to take steps bo form _ bucket brigade, and to get all information possible in reference-to a serviceable plant. It was decided the draw the Council _ attention to the street lamps in tho borough being out on several occasions.
