SYDENHAM PICTURES.

There was a large and appreciative attendance at tho Sydenham Pictures last night. '"Robinson Crusoe," which is tho star item, is a film 3000 ft in length. The many exciting episodes are realistically reproduced, the -wreck, the castaway, the island of the cannibals, Man Friday, the rescue, etc. "The Panama Hat Industry" is a splendid review of everything connected with this manufacture. "The Coastguard's Sistier" is a stirring tale of tho Cornish coast in tho smuggling days. "The Pathe Gazette" keeps one posted in the world's news: A superior Yitagraph drama, in which the schemes of two sharp financiers are nipped in the bud "By a clever girl, is entitled "Checkmated." Comicalities are "The Lady in Black" and "Smashing Time."
