GRAND THEATRE.
Tlio new programme at the Grand Theatre yesterday attracted l»rg* crowds of "patroHs at all sessions. One of the principal films screened was a Western drama, "Broncho Billy and the Western Girls." Evelyn and Irene Courtney, through the helplessness or their father, who is a cripple, are given charge of the general store and post office. A large bag of gold, with registered letters etc., arc delivered by the mail carrier one day. Dick X<ee, a notorious outlaw, sees the delivery of the valuable bag. That night with a gang, .Leo breaks into.the post office and -would havo carried off the treasure had not Evelyn escaped through a rear window, mounted her horse and ridden away. One of the meu sees her, how-v ever, and the three go in pursuit. Irene is quick to inform Broncho Billy, and the latter arrives just in time to savo Evelyn from the hands of the bandits. The three are captured. Billy falls in love with Irene, and th*7 two are left to plan their future happiness. Other successful pictures were: "In the Bandits Lair" (romantic drama), "Violet Dare. Detective" (romance of a girl sleuth). "Wonderful Artillery," showing big guns at work, and "The Waiters' Picnic." a splendid keystone comedy. To-tlay the sanio pictures will be shown.
