STRIKE COMMITTEE'S MANIFESTO.
Yesterday we received the following, under the seal of the Watersiders Strike Committee: — . , _~ "The Strike wish the public to know, that in giving - donations of money to the striko fund there are lists distributed, and they are requested to see that all lists bear the seal of the Strike Committee." ~ "That this meeting of the Strike Committee call upon the authorities to take steps to close all hotels immediately special police and free labourers are introduced upon the wharves of Lyttelton and to keep them closed until the strike is over."
Meetings and speakers have been arranged for open-air addresses in Southbridge on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Subject will be strike matters.
