A POLITICAL STORM
MR HOLMAN DENOUNCED

Father O'Reilly, champion of , tho Catholic Federation movement, created a sensation in an address at the Cootamundra Catholic Church by denouncing Mr Holman, the Premior, for allegedly causing the issue of a soc-rct circular advising Labour candidates not to bind themselves on the Catholic question.
Father O'Reilly advised Catholics to vote against all candidates, whether Catholic, Protestant, Labour, or Liberal, refusing to answer the Catholic Federation's question. Ho declared that though for twelve years he had voted for Labour he intended to vote for the Liberals because the Labour candidates had turned down tho Federation.
