Linwood B* Ricearton ocoupied a position in the oval on Sa.turdav. The former batted first, and made 221 (Tait 56,' Harrison 2 not out, Perrin 29, fleet 21, Gurnsoy 15, Bisman 11, Patterson 11), Taylor and Francis took the wickets. Riccarton replied with 46 for 1 wickot.
In tho - game between Sydenham, and Linwood A, the latter watted first, and made 86 (Warner 22, Ruesell 12, Condliffe 13, Quartorman 12). Martin 5 wickets, Dougall 4. Sydenham replied with 248 (Shelton 67, AUing 47, Booth 35, Dougall 35, Windsor 25, Mathews 21 not out).
Boys' High School v. Sydenham 8., played at. Sydenham Park. Sydenham batted first, compiling vl6l' (Watts 17, Gray 40, McLennan 32, Stevens 12, Wiltshire 26 not out). Smith and Nixon took'the wickets. Boys' High School,have made 155 for four (Guiney 62,- Smith 85 not out). St. Albans -A., batting first against West Christchurch B.j made 303 (Thompson 65 not out, Edgar. 42; Webster 37, Piercey 34, Bettle 34, Johns 24, Simpson 14, O'Brien 14, Hatch 11). West made 43 for three wickets (Burrell 10, Jenkins 28 not out). East Christchurch took first" Btrike against Christ's College, and made 120 (Norman 40, Brooke 2U, Corlett 26). Lamer and Pinckney did the bowling. College made 76 (Homer 20, Lowry 16. Bush 17, Averill 11). Houghey and Brooke took most of the wickets.'East in their second innings made 32 for one wicket (Armstrong not out 19, Corbett 10).
