In the- game between Riccarton B and ' East Christchurch B Riccarton batting first notched 86 (Ballarityne 26, Escott 18). Reid and Escott bowled best for East. In reply to Riccarton, East made 210 (Inglis 52, Hollis 35, Reid 33, Saxmders 23, Murphet 25, Gilmour 14, Kincaid 11 not out). Hayne, Escott; and Chapman bowled best for Riccarton.

Linwood B, batting first against Christ's College, made 163 (McClelland 51, Shepherd 26, Salvereen 26, Evans 16). Rutherford, Macfarlane and Sugden took the wickets for College, who replied with 153 (Macfarlane 30, Rutherford 26, Gurnsey 22, Blunt 14, Raphael 13, Rich 13). Spencer, Baker, and McClelland took the wickets.

WestChristchurch A batting first against High 19S (Mo Rae 37. Schmidt 34, Moore 11, Ashby 10, O'Donoghue 78). Parker and Nightingale took most of the wickets. School made 162 for eight wicketa (Parker 69, Nfchtingale 25, Corbett 24, Oakley 16, Taylor 11).
