PROSECUTION AGAINST INTERESTS OF THE STATE.

The prosecution of Hentschel for eipionago has been withdrawn, because it would have been contrary to tho interests of the State to proceed further.
Prior to accused's confession, an official entrusted with espionage- matters paid Hentschel for information implicating himself and Parrott. Hentschel wrongly understood that he was promised protection if he confessed.
The prosecution reserves the right to prosecute if Hentschel repeats his confession publicly.
