MINING ON THE RAND.
A RICH REEF. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received February 14th, 9.22 a.m.) CAPETOWN, February 13. The Rand maim reef was struck at a depth of three thousand three hundred feet, and is sixteen and a hau feet wide, under JSoksburg and Vogelfonteia. It yields a rich assay, enhancing the Government's mining rights by a million and a half.
