OBITUARY.
At Sydenham on Monday Lady Elizabeth le Fleming, widow of Sir Michael Ie Fleming, died after a Ions; illness. She was a daughter of Captain Bro<iio, a Rwsian naval officer, find landed in Canterbury in 1850 with lier iiEcie, Mr R. Jatkson, who was also her brother-in-la-n-, through his having married .Miss Brodie'* lia!f-«[stor. Sir Michael was a- pu-'eenger in th-e same vessel, .xnd their marriage took place in ChriHchurch. • N ir Michael le Fleming, with Mr Jacks-'on, took up Kasdale Nook, which included the Springfield and Dalethorpe cetatos. Upon the death of the Rev. le Fleming, of Gnwmere, in 1860. Sir .Michael became the head of th<> family, but the ancient seat of the lo Flemings', Rydal Hall, had passed Lnto othfr hands. Sir died twenty years ngo. and the title passed to Sir Andrew le Fleming, of Oamaru.
