At the -weekly market on Tuesday the attendance was fairly good. In the itock yards the entry was 4500 sheep, 80 cattle, and 120 pigs in one yard, and 500 sheep, nnd cattle, horses and pigs in the other. Prices were:—Pat lambe 12s 9d to 14s Id, fat ewes 12s"od to 14a, two and ifourtooth ewes and wethers to 16s 9d, fat merino ewes 10s 6d, store lambe 8e to 10a lid, four-tooth wethers to 14a lid, four, six and eight-tooth halfbred ewes to 16s 3d, ewee and lambs to 7s 9d, full-mouthed merino ewes Bs, two-tooth mixed cheep 14s lid. Beef, equal to 27s 6d per 1001b; fat steers £8, do heifers £7 9s 6d, dry cows £8 10s, springers £7 10s, milch cows £6 15e, young cattle £3 2e 6d to £4, roilch cows £7 10s to £9, aged Borte £3 to £4 se. Pigs—Baconers 3Se to, 645, porkers 22s j6d to 38s, suckers 10a to 16e 6d. In the produce yarda:—Heavy sheepskins brought 5s 6d to 3s lOd, merino do to 4s Id, lighter skins 2* 6d to 2» Bd, lamb skins 1* 2d to Iβ 6d, pelte 4d to Is fat Id to lb, crossbred wool 3d to' 5Jd, do pieces id to ljd, merino do 7d. Poultry—Hens la 9d to 2s lOd,, roosters 2s to 4s Bd, ducke 2s 7d to 3s 6d chick wheat 4e 6d to 4s 10d bushel, feed oats 2s to 2s 6d, barley 2s 9d, beans 3s 6d, crushed do 3s 9d, oateheaf chaff 75s to 80s ton, straw do 35e, bran 6s, eharpe 10s, pig meal 12s, potatoes id to, W Id. Medium draught horses to £17 10s, light harness do £6 15s to £9 10s.
