At the Tinwald yards yesterday the following prices were obtained: —Store cattle-Caw in profit £4 to £9 10b, springers £7 to £8 2s 6d, yearhngs £2 /• 6d to £2 10s 6d, bulk £1 13a to £1 17s 6d. Fat cattle—Cowe £6 2s 6d to £8 Eβ, heifers £5 to £7 10s. Fat sheep—Crossbred ewes 9e to 13e lid, lambs Us 3d to 13s 2d, crossbred wethere loe lOd, merino ewes 5s 9d to Bs. Store sheep —M«rino ewes and lambs (all counted) be Id crossbred ewea {failing mouth) 6b <M to lie Id, lambs 8s to lie 3d. At Rangiora market on Tuesday Dun oate were quoted at Iβ 8d to Iβ 10d, short oats for feed Is lOd to 2s. At a clearing sate held by the New Zealand Loao Company, at "StradJaUan, Fairlie, on account of Mr F- J. LeCran, on Monday, the four-tooth ewee belonging to the estate realised 18s 6d, a price not pj*vioifflly touched in South. Canterbury for such i&eep this season. The "StorthallaQ cKp halfbred wool usually tope the market at the wool sales in Timaro.
