OXFORD.
Messre A. Wright (chairman), A. Stubbs, D. Thompson, and P. H. Thompson attended a meeting of the Oxford Road Board. The Woodaide School Committee's request for a foot-bridge over Cooper's Creek wae favourably considered, and it was resolved that an estimate and report should be prepared for next Board day. The Land and Income Tax Department informed the Board that an advance had been made of £201 of .subsidy on rates. A transfer of lease of reserve 2649, etc., from W. H. Simpson to G. Rossiter was granted. The caretaker of the Eyre water-racee interviewed the Board in regard to a transfer of the remainder of hie term of contract for the maintenance of races to H. Martin, to which the Board, after consideration, consented. Tenders were received for Jtlie erection of the Aehley Gorge bridge arid that of Mr J. Forbes, of Oust, at £1509 as was accepted. It was resolved that tenders should be invited for next Board day, March 4th, for the extension of the Eyre traffic bridge, ateo for repairing the Main Road from Steffan's to Carleton roads-
