The monthly meeting of the St Augustine Lodge will take place to-night at th* Hell, Manchester street, at V.30 o'clock. As will be seen by a notification elsewhere, applications are invited by a life insurance company for the position of inspector of agents for an important district. A garden party m aid of the Destitute Patients' Fund will be held in the Hospital Grounds on Saturday, February 21st, from 3to 5.30 p.m. The Garrison Band will play on the occasion. A testimonial benefit, in which a. number of ladies and gentlemen will take part, has been arranged to be he.d in the Opera House on Thursday, February 12th. An attractive programme hoe been arranged, and a free wheel Budge WMtworth bicycle will be given away. The train arrangementti in connection witE' the Oulveiden Sale, on Friday next, appear elsewhere.
