A CLAIM FOR INJURIES.
(FKESS ASSOCIATION TELEGBAM.) February 9. At the District Court to-day the appeal case, Minister of Railways v Carruthere, an appeal from the decision of Mr Hawkine, S.M., in awarding respondent ±»W for alleged injuries received by a fall from the train at SeTgeant's Hill, was heard. The appeal wae upheld on the ground that there had been contributory negligence on the part of the respondent.
