France hae been exercising all her diplomatic facilities to increase her prestige in Abycainia, and during the visit of five Abyssinian Envoy to London for the Coronation, angled for him to visit Paris. Subsequently it was announced that Kmg Menelik had accepted France's pressing invitation to attend the opening of the JiboutK railway, which is to connect Abyssinia with Jiboutii, a pent on the Gulf of Aden.
