The American visible wheat supply is estimated at 81,071,000 bushels Copper—On spot, £53 2s 6d per ton; three months, £53 8s 9d per ton. TinOn spot* £127 15s per ton. Messrs Dalgety acd Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, under date January 15th: —"Frozen Meat.—There .is a slightly better demand for frozen meat. Prices of frozen beef are unchanged. Prime New Zealand mutton is worth per lb, and North Island 4|d per lb, prime New Zealand lamb 5Jd per lb. Butter—Since our last telegram prices of Danish are lower by li to 2 la-oner. The market is wtak. We quote Danish 108s, Canadian 102s, and Victorian prime factory 105s per cwt. Cheese —The market is advancing, and there are buyers of Canadian at
64s per cwt. Wool—The market is very firm, and tending upwards strongly. Hides are in fair demand at unchanged prices."
