RAKAIA.
The RaJuia Road' Board meeting, was attended by Messrs Bealey, Wilson, Wallace, and Lill. Owing to Sir John Ball's resignation, Mr Bealey was elected chairman of the Board. Mr Hart's application for an extension of time for Ks shingling contracts on DcATOa and Glenroy roads was granted. With reference to the small birds nuisance, it 'was decided , to continue to purchase birds aaid eggs taken in the district till the end of February. Several small works were ordered to be carried out. Accounts amounting to £237 were passed for payment.
