ROAD BOARDS.
AVON.
The Avon Road Board met on the 12th inst. Present—Mx Morgan (in the chair), a,nd all the members. A communication was received from the Committee appointed to secure a- cemetery for Belfast and surrounding district, asking for the Board's assistance to oibbain a site on e ßelfast road. The Board approved the site, subject to the ipric* fixed being satisfactory, and a efcmetery area defined, such area to include portions of the Rkcarton and Avon road districts, the cost of the cemetery to be raised by a loam on this area only. It was decided to lower tihe pi pea across Canal Reserve at'the No. 2 drain. The clerk was instructed to obtam a sparrow trap and test it. The finance report showed the debtor bailance at the bank to be £1287 12s 9d. Accounts amounting to £116 19s 3d were passed for payment.
