WALTHAM.

At a meeting of the Waltham School Committee there were present Messr* C. V. Harvey (chairman), Sim, Gow, Clifford, Besley, Wraight, and Recce. Letters were 'read and received from the Board in reference to swimming classes at the school. It was decided that the chairman and Mr Sim make arrangements for the use of a bath and the necessary instruction. Messrs Besley and EJdridge wct6 appointed visiting committee for next month. It was decided that the annual excursion take place at Motukarara (Rabbit Island, in Whairora Park, on Thursday, February 12th.
