PRESIDENT'S CUP MATCHES.

The match Christ's College v Sydenham was won by the former by nine wickets. Scores:—College 200 and 40 for one wicket (6. Cotterill 29 not out); Sydenham 63 and 171 (Grammar 79, Jones 42, Hepburn 17, AiU Lavery 11). For the winners L. Blnnden took ten wickets for 94, .G Cotterill six for 46, and Purnell three for 14. The Midland beat the Boys' High School by six wickets, but owing to the scorers not informing the players a couple more wickets fell before play ceased. Scores:—High School 93 and 102 (T. Mason 22, Lyttelton 16, Bishop 16, Kiteon 14, and C. H. Mason 11); Midland 107 and 93 for six wickets (Barge 40 and Norman 20). Fisher, Green and Smith bowled best for the winners, and T.
