The contest between the College Second and Midland teams ended in an unexpected win for the. former by 7 runs. Scores: — College 30 and 129 (Pearson 40, Cotton 24, EL Williams 21, and Thomas 19); Midland 113 and 39 (Ford 12). In the losers' second innings K. Williams took eight wicket* for 22 runs.* '■•.' * The United end Boys* High School Second
played a tie, the scored being: -High bchool 71 and 96 (Banks 18, Newton 14> Howell 14 and Atkinson 11); United 66 and 101 Louisson 28, Jameson 16, and Gunn 14). Hadfield and Howell bowled well far the School, and Middleton for the United. The match Lancaster Park A v Sydenham B was won by the Park by. 95 runs. Scores: -- Lancaster Park 95 and 79; Sydenham 57 and 22. For the Park Saston made 28 .and 18, -Phillips 16, Henry 23, C. iiale 16 not out, Dennis 15. For Sydenham and Addmgton Bell 17, and Dowding 13' and 11. By" 16 was the most successful bowler for the Park, taking six wickets for 7 runs in the second innings. _ __ „ Sydenham No. 1 v Lancaster Park No. 2 concluded their match at Svdenhcan Park, the former winning by 103 runs. Scores: — Sydenham 108 and 108 (Jacobs 32, Hunslev 26, McMeekan 22 not out); Lancaster Park 56 and 57 (Kennedy 22 not out, and Venables 20). Hampton and Rowe bowled best for Sydenham, and Ridley and Kennedy for the Park.
