Took Part In Making Town Progressive
“The town is one businessmen can be proud of and the Chamber has taken its part in making the town progressive and up-to-date. It is up to the Chamber to see that apathy does not creep in,” said Mr H. G. Warren, referring at the annual meeting of the Whakatane Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday night to the fact that £23 in subscriptions was overdue. It was decided to try to collect the overdue money.
