Commerce Chamber Elects Officers
Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Whakatane Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday night were:— President, Mr B. L. Butler; vicepresident, Mr C. R. Whittle; council, Messrs J. N. Patterson, Easthope, C. E. Thatcher, T. Danks, W. G. Clavis, Bailey and J. Milne; sec-retai’y-treasurer, Mr R. B. Mollgaard; auditor, Mr T. H. Morgan; retailers’ sub-committee, Messrs C. S. Armstrong, B. L. Butler, Coates, J. N .Patterson, H. G. Cutler, R. TMorpeth and H. G. Warren.
