INJURED IN COLLISION ON STREET CORNER
Facial injuries necessitating his admission to hospital were suffered by a motor cyclist, Malcolm Brown, of White Pine Bush, when he was involved in a collision with a car driven by Mr Alfred Burgess, of McGarvey Road, at the corner of McGarvey Road and Domain Road on Wednesday evening. Mr Burgess had been driving west along Domain Road. He stopped short of the McGarvey Road corner to disembark a passenger, then signalled his intention to turn right into McGarvey Road. .. The motor cyclist, proceeding west behind the car, swerved right to avoid the car and the collision took place on the corner.
