Record Buying Indicated

Record buying seems to be assured at Whakatane this Christmas. Nearly all shops and businesses in the town report an increase in customers over the last few weeks and money has been circulating more freely. Most retailers have received their stocks for Christmas and the New Year and a greater variety has been noted in the supplies that have come to hand so far. One change that has been noted according to one retailer is that although there appears to be more money circulating the average customer does not buy carelessly.
