Teams to represent Whakatane in cricket fixtures on December 16 have been selected. They are:— At Opotiki: W. J. McKenzie (Captain), D. Bull, F. Cameron, M. Le Pine (United), W. McCready, J. Rivett, K. Burt, R. Cleland (P. and T.), T: Lyons (High School), L. Thurlow, V. Tunnicliffe, T. Brown twelth man. Mr Blake manager. Volts v Pongakawa (Qleland Memorial) at Whakatane: D. Carling (Capt), (United), A. Elliott, C. Griffiths (Edgecumbe), D. Howat, P. Seebeck, S. Shapley, B. Whiteside (P. and T.), G. Oswald, J. Fitzsimmons, J. Ross, D. Birdges (High School) twelth man. Mr W. Whiteside, manager. The Colts team will report on the showground wicket at 9 a.m. sharp, also bring a plate for afternoon tea. Lunch will be supplied.

Any player who is unable to play please contact the secretary immediately. Tomorrow’s fixtures:— P. and T. v United at Domain. High School v Edgecumbe at High School.
