Golf Club Closes Its Season

Waimana had its golf closing day on Saturday with visitors from Te Teko and Whakatane.

Competitions began at 10.30 a.m. with a one-club match, in the afternoon driving, approach and putting took place. Rain marred play for the mixed foursomes.

After tea adjournment, Mr King, the president, presented the cups and trophies won during the season, and during the day's play. Ladies' long drive, Mrs Rowson; approach and putting, Miss J.
