Winter Show Assn. Given Prior Use Of Community Centre
The Winter Show Association, if it sells its building and gives the price realised to the War Memorial Community Centre, will be given prior right to use the Centre for shows in June of each year. This was decided by the Whakatane Domain Board on Monday night. The Association would be for some time without a building, said Mr H. G. Warren. It was proposed to sell the present building by tender with possession for the new owner in January. It was hoped that voluntary labour would build a shell building at Ihe Domain before next year.
