The longest highway across the Unite’d States extends 2,653 miles from Provincetown in the State of Massachusetts to Long Beach in the State of California.
Exhibition of contemporary art, conducted throughout the United States for the past 10 years by the American Association of University Women, have attracted more than 500,000 visitors, with attendance figures increasing each year.
In 1900, one out of every 25 American was 65 years old or older, it was reported at the recent United States National Conference on the Ageing. Today, that figure stands at one out of every 13, or 11,514,000 out of the national population of 150,000,000.
