United Juniors Suffer Their First Defeat
United juniors suffered their first defeat in local competitions for a number of seasons at the hands of Wairaka in a Wilson Cup match on Saturday. \ In a fast interesting game, the issue of which was always in doubt, Wairaka managed to gain and hold a two-point lead to bring them into the final of the Wilson Cup elimination. The final score was Wairaka 8, United 6.
