Murupara Women’s Division

There was a good attendance at the September meeting of the Murupara Women’s Division of Federated Farmers when Mrs Hill, the president, took the chair. One new member, Mrs J. Rowlands, of Galatea, was welcomed. A fair amount of business was discussed and attended to and at the October meeting another panel on division work is to be brought forward. The competition winners were:— Child’s print frock, Mrs Cawte, Mrs Neilson equal 1, Mrs C. Allen, Mrs G. Allen equal 2; rolling shilling, Mrs Pratt 1; flower head, Mrs Gibbs 1, Mrs White 2; single bloom, Mrs Caie 1, Mrs Cawte 2; vegetable, Mrs Hill 1, Mrs Williams 2. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Neville and Ramshaw.
