MR ANDERSON PHONED FROM SCOTLAND
What is probably one of Whakatane’s »longest long-distance phone calls was received on Thursday night when Mr D. Anderson, who has just arrived in Dundee on a visit to Scotland, phoned Mrs Anderson at . her home in Landing Road. Reception was a little blurred at times. Mrs Anderson had called Scotland herself when the ser- °’! vice was inaugurated about three years ago.
