Invitations To Celebrations
Invitations to the Governor-Gen-eral, members of the Government and diplomatic corps to attend the Matatua canoe sextennial celebrations to be held at Whakatane this month have been sent out by the organising committee. Preparations are now being made to receive a large party of official guests. The main part of the ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 23, at 10.30 a.m.
