Whakatane Archery Club House Is Nearing Completion
Good progress was made on the new club house for the Whakatane Archery Club by a few energetic members last week. The equipment shed was completed and painted, and targets tightened and reinforced. Further work tomorrow should see the job completed, and members will have time for shooting again.
On September 9 the club will hold the official opening day. This will be attended by Otakiri archers. With the Standard Rose Bowl shoot to look forward to in November it is hoped that a full attendance of members will be present each Saturday and that all will practice as much as possible.
