Good Yarding Of Pigs At Fortnightly Sale

There was a small yarding of light bacon and a good yarding of stores, slips and weaner pigs at the fortnightly Opotiki pig sale. Competition on all classes was exceptionally keen and an excellent sale resulted. Realisations were:—

Medium bacon, £6 to £6 10s; large stores, £5 4s to £5 6s; medium stores, £4 to £4 3s; slips, £3 to £3 10s; small slips, £1 2s to £2 15s; weaners, according to size, 35s to 43s 6d.
