Rubber Mudguards
Rubber mudguards which bend when struck and snap back into position when the pressure is removed, are being fitted to buses now being constructed in Christchurch. Trucks and commercial vehicles may also be fitted with the new mudguards, which cost no more than the metal ones. The mudguards are moulded, and are held in place with a bracket, which can easily fee straightened 'if bent.
