Power Cuts To Stop From Sunday
Evening power cuts are to cease in the Whakatane district from Sunday. This has been brought about by the introduction of the individual quota system, which is expected to commence next week .and the commencement of the dairy season. The final cut will be the Sunday afternoon shut-off from 1 to 4 o’clock. As a result of this change churches are now reverting to their former times of services.
