Care Needed On Roads To Gisborne

Highways in the Gisborne district have not suffered severely as a result of the storm. However, stretches of snow-covered road to the north and south of Gisborne require more than ordinary care on the part of the motorist. Following is the road state:— Gisborne-Opotiki via Waioeka.—• Open; some minor slips have narrowed the available surface of the road and care should be exercised.
