Ohope Post Office Closing On Saturday
From next Saturday the Ohope Post Office will close on Saturday mornings for the winter months only. This arrangement was agreed on after full discussion between the Ohope Progress League and the Post Office authorities.
In leiu of the Saturday morning attendance, the office will now be open from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays. A special mail will be received Friday evening, reaching Ohope at 5.30 p.m. and on Monday morning a special mail closing at 8.15 a.m. will be despatched from Ohope to Whakatane.
