The Nurses and Mid wives' Boajrd has announced that the folloi*i*g Whakatane candidates obtained passes or partial • passes in, flue State examination for maternity nurses held in June. Candidates obtaining honours received 75 per eeat or over of the possible marks:— Passes: Cubitt, Mary May; Hadley, Margaret; Hewitt, Patricia; Kirk, Margaret Dalrymple; Miles, Joan Marjorie; Murray, Doris Margaret; Te Maru, Mary; Wendlek€n, Janet Margaret.
