Waimana Resident Is Farewelled

An afternoon arranged by the Waimana- Plunket Society to farewell Mrs Tankard, who leaves to live at Coromandel, was held at the home of Mrs C. Such. A large number of friends of the guest of honour were present. A memory test competition was won by Mesdames Mitchell and M. King Housie was won by Mrs Stans-' bury with Mrs P. Clark second. Mrs Hewitt, on behalf of the Plunket Society, presented Mrs Tankard with an umbrella and also presented a gift from the women's institute. Mrs Tankard replied.
